The sick side of capitalism
A senior executive of Glencore, the global multinational, which made
£1.4bn pre-tax profits, reportedly said that recent droughts in the USA
and Russia are "good for business". Meanwhile the poor of the world go
hungry. This sort of capitalism is SICK. There must be a better way of managing limited food resources than leave it to the fat cats to get fatter.
