Rain
Yesterday it rained. If it rains in Cambridge, we are quite unlucky as rainy days are quite rare. We get them, but it rains far less in the SE of the UK than in the west.

Rain
As it is still raining heavily, I think we'll give our after-dinner coastal walk a miss this evening. I suspect watching TV is more probable.
The forecast for the rest of the week looks OK.
UPDATE 1815z: The rain stopped, so I managed a walk after all.

Snow here?

Summer?
Unless we get an Indian Summer I think we have now seen the best of the summer weather. There has been no prolonged good weather all summer. Today it feels much cooler and there are 3 lows waiting to drop rain on us. We have had heavy rain over parts of the UK today. A few years ago we had our best weather all year in early October.

Rain
We seem to have had far more rain here in East Anglia in recent years. When I first came to this part of England 45 years ago it was pretty dry. Nowadays we seem to get our fair share of rain. Climate change?
